59 Shore Road LLC - The Point

In real estate it’s all about location.  In the Hamptons, it’s all about the water. You may have a view from your home, a bulkhead and boat dock on a canal or on the bay or your own private beach in the Dunes, but waterfront and access to water is the priceless part of the Hampton experience.  This location has it all.

The Point is one of the most prominent Waterfront properties in Greater Westhampton Beach.  The two-acre site provides panoramic views from every direction.  The spectacular bay frontage of nearly 400 feet that bounds the southerly exposure provides endless views of the bays, inlets, beaches and beyond.  The northern views include the greens of the golf course and beyond.  Then it is all about the improvements one makes to a spectacular property.

To create a Landmark and a Legacy takes time.  This was a Three Year project .  It sold for $13.5 Million this year, breaking the sales price threshold for Westhampton.

The Point is a compound.  A near 12,000 Sq. Ft. residence.  The main house has 8 bedrooms and 10.5 baths, 4 fireplaces, formal library, living room, dining room, morning room, porches, cabana, elevator, laundry rooms and a kitchen with 2 of everything.  There are 3 wings and a gallery on the second floor including the Grand Master Suite with its own office, fireplace, 2 baths and Captain's deck and 3 guest suites each with private bath and terrace.  The Guest House has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 1/2 baths, laundry, living room with its own private terrace and deck.  There are spectacular views from every room on every floor.

The exterior is completely finished with attention to detail throughout.  The home and cottage are cast in a muted grey with Nantucket Blue shutters and a white trim. The wood roof is trimmed with hand-made copper gutters and leaders.  The portico, porch, side and rear courtyards, retaining walls and landings are all trimmed in brick and bluestone.  The interiors have all been completed in rich detail, custom painting and finishing.  Custom cabinetry was hand-crafted onsite for the bathrooms, pantries, kitchen and store rooms.  Marble floors and finishes in all the bathrooms.  Lighting (including an automated lift for the Grand Chandelier in the entry) inside and out was chosen to accentuate the decor inside and out.

"The Point" was designed to provide the Ultimate Hampton Waterfront experience.

Tracking the construction and development of The Point at 59 Shore Road was essentially a longitudinal observation through “film”.  This photo assignment gave me the opportunity to find the best settings and views to frame and finalize advertising images suitable for publication.  These images helped me to concretize copy and positioning for descriptive advertising.
